Sunday's CAS card at the Outlawz
This is my DT card. The challenge is to create your own background. I used a background stamp and heat embossed it with clear embossing powder. I then used 3 different distress inks, spritzed it lightly with water and left it to dry. next was ironing the card between two sheets of scratch paper to melt the embossing powder causing the image to pop quite nicely.
CAS card using the Heidi Swapp Minc foiling machine
The Minc foiling machine was a 'I have to have it!'. This was my first try. I am quite happy with the results.

Another watercolour background card
This time, still using the outside wrapper of the copy paper but with the print on it. As you can see, the print did not transfer to the card. happiness!
Water colour card using a mask
A Facebook post asked the question 'where can you buy freezer paper to use as a mask?' I googled alternatives to freezer paper and found one suggestion to use the outside wrapper of printer paper which is exactly what I did and it worked with no trouble at all. You will notice a slight imperfection on the breast where I obviously did not iron it well enough. My first time water colouring as well and must say it turned out pretty okay although while wet, it looked a bit crappy.

My DT project for Sunday CAS over at the Outlawz
Today's theme was to have a bird on your card or project. I opted for a calendar of which I will be making quite a few for a group of ladies.
