A few cards made for the Outlawz CAS Sunday challenge.  These are my DT samples.

Clean and Simple heat embossed

heat embossing drew me to card making.  I was entranced by the melting of the powder when heated.

Samosas

Yesterday I got it in my head to try and make samosas.  Yikes!  I take my hat off to those persons who do this for a living.  It tasted really nice although it could have been a bit spicier.

Another go at my amateur baking.  Made this cake for a friend.  I am so glad he recognized it as being tyre.  At least I know it's recognizable.

Retirement card

This was made for a colleague who retired after 16 years working at the same company.  Not entirely my own design but cased from an image I saw on Pinterest.  Unfortunately, by now I can't remember whose card it was.

Sport

The challenge last week was to show the sport played in your country.  Lots of my male friends are playing golf,  this is my card, the CAS way.

Using ribbon

I am a bit behind on my post so catching up.  The challenge at the Outlawz three Sundays ago wins to use both ribbon and the colour red.

Bringing out the animal

The theme over at the Outlawz is to use animal print on your card or project.  Of course, it has to be clean and simple. I chose to use rub-ons as I am not too big on animal images.

Clean and simple card using the negative of a die-cut

The negative of a die-cut always looks so pretty and such a shame to toss it every time.  Not this time, found a use for it and I am quite chuffed with the result.

Clean and simple card using embossing folder

I love the background of this card.  Open an embossing folder of your choice.  Sponge acrylic paint to the inside of the front, spritz with water or, in my case I used perfect pearls mist, press your card stock onto the paint, peel it off and let it dry.

Handmade Thank You cards

Two handmade 'Thank You' cards I made today using the same DP and card stock.  I used Spectrum Noir alcohol markers on the one image.

I chose the theme for today which is to make your sentiment the star of the show. I have always loved this sentiment.

Mixed Media

I have always wanted to do a mixed media project and when one of my friends offered a class, I jumped at the chance.  I am thrilled at how it turned out.

2015 Calendars

I started quite a few calendars and well...things just got in the way.  Finally finished them and with 9 more months in this year, there's still a use for them.

I had a look through YouTube and liked the idea of using a stencil and textured paste.  can't believe that I actually got it right.

The theme for today is 'Out of Space'.  I was a bit distraught when I couldn't find anything to suit the challenge.  Luckily I decided to clean my craftroom and found this designer paper called 'robot'.  The space ships in the right corner is also part of the paper that I cut out.

I was a very lucky recipient of a wonderful gift of a mixer, mincer, shredder, liquidizer and food processor.  I made this batch of cards and others as one of the 'thank you' gifts.
