bling it on!

My mojo seems to have left the building.  It's been coming on a while now and the only time I hit my craft room is when duty calls.  Hopefully it will be back soon.

The theme over at the Outlawz today is "Bling it on" and this is my card.  This butterfly is sure to be the envy of all it's friends!

Winter birthday CAS card

Sunday's CAS card for the Outlawz.  I was I. The mood for something glittery.  Stuck wide double-sided tape onto card stock.  Cut out the image with a Tim Holtz die, removed the tape covering and sprinkled glitter on top.

Pumpkin CAS card.

What a dilemma to come up with a pumpkin image.  Halloween is a non entity in South Africa so never had the need for for one.  Luckily the freebies came to the rescue.  Why not pop over to the Outlawz and join the Sunday CAS group?

Todays challenge over at the Outlawz is to create a CAS card that's very girly.  I chose the a dress, sparkles and the colour pink.  What can be more girly than this?

Todays challenge over at the Outlawz is to create a CAS card using the work 'wave' as inspiration.

I took the word literally and used a wave on my design.

Watermelon

The Sunday CAS challenge over at the Outlawz is to create a card showcasing the yummy watermelon.  I chose a watermelon border cut on the Silouette Cameo and completed my CAS card with a simple sentiment.

Happy Endings Swap

Rubber Stamping S.A. Held a swap called "Happy Endings".  Each lady made two cards half-way, sent it to two different people who had to finish the card and sent it back.  here's my two cards and the completed ones.

Diamonds and Pearls

The challenge over at the Outlawz is to use diamonds and/or pearls on your card.  I opted to use pearls.  Doesnit it look like fireworks?

My blog has been a little quiet but not because I haven't been doing anything.  Can you believe it? Just forgot to post the cards.  One of the challenges over at the Outlawz was to create a card using a tag.

The CAS challenge for today is to create a card featuring a dog oe something dog related.  Silhouette Cameo to the rescue again.  oh how I love this machine.

Father's Day cards

Images of both cards cut on the Silhouette Cameo.  The blue and white check made my me for my daughter to give to hubby dearest.  The other, for my father-in-law.

My Silhouette is my best friend right now.  The peppers were cut and I coloured over the red card stock with Spectrum Noirs.

All about die-cuts

Todays challenge at the Outlawz is to create a card or project using an electronic or manual die-cut machine.  This is my card featuring two candles that I will give to my niece on her 2nd birthday at the end of the month.  The image was bought in the Silhouette store.

I bought this SVG cut soon after I bought the Silhouette Cameo but never used it until now.  one of the ladies in. Our rubber stamping group posted a picture of theirs and I was inspired to get off my you-know-what and make a concerted effort.

I am entering this card in the challenge over at Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2. I was determined to make a card for a male and boy did I struggle to come up with something using designer paper and no flowers.

Make your own designer paper

The challenge for today over at the Outlawz is to create a CAS card using your own handmade designer paper.  I used a kaleidacolor ink pad with a Penny Black 'Daisy Pattern' stamp.

Baby congratulatory cards for less fortunate mommies

A charitable organization provides less fortunate mommies with a little goodie bag to take home once the baby has been born and thought it a good idea to include a congratulatory card.  These were cut using the Silhouette Cameo.  hope you like them.

 Sundays CAS over at the Outlawz is monochromatic grey.  

Birthday card

I got a head start and made this card for my daughter's 18th birthday coming up this weekend.  The image is coloured with Spectrum Noir alcohol pens.  The flourish is a Marianne design.  A selection of flowers and butterflies finishes off the card.

I entered this card for fun in the Tuesday colours challenge over at the outlawzchallenges.  The brief was to use 3 of five given colours and a twist is to add butterflies.  I chose sky blue, grass green and poppy orange which seems a bit faded on the photograph.

I cut the image with the Silhouette Cameo and used it as a stencil.  Sponged with distress ink.

Todays challenge over at the Outlawzchallenges is to creat a card featuring a daisy or sweat pea.  As I don't have an image of a sweet pea, daisy it had to be.  I colored the image with spectrum noir alcohol markers.

I thought I would get a head start on my Easter cards.  I am lucky to have acquired a Silhouette Cameo 12 days ago and wow! I love it!  This is one of the cards.  The cut file was bought in the Silhouette store.

Milestone Birthday

I am two days past a milestone birthday and yikes! can't believe I got here this quick.  I have quite a few friends and colleagues that will be 50 this year.  1 card down and many more to go.  The challenge this week at the Outlawz is to create a Milestone birthday or Anniversary card and here is mine:
