White out

white on white is the challenge over at the Outlawz this week. I say there's nothing quite like a white card. No matter what you do, it always turns out classy.

A completely clean and simple card for today's challenge at the Outlawz. It's also the perfect card for one of my friends who's always the designated barman at certain functions.

This was such a fun card to make using a digi image from Guylou over at Guylou's Inimitability.

Home-baked vanilla sponge cake

I am always baking pretty cakes for parties, get-togethers and to take with when invited out.

Today I decided to bake one just for us. Yes, the household. Of course my daughter thinks I am crazy.

Masculine 50th birthday card

One of my greatest card making challenges is a masculine card.  I must admit, this one didn't turn on too badly.  I made it for my friend's 50th birthday.  He's an avid golfer.

Well, January is off to a good start.
The image is from Penny Black and called Yummy Mimi.
The face and eggs are coloured with Copics. E000, E00 and E21. The cheeks are coloured with R20. The heart and cherry, R29

The rest is coloured with Spectrum Noirs.

Highlighting Debbie Harris

If I'm not mistaken all these cutouts were done with the Silhouette. Debbie used a fabulous colour combination for this card.

Highlighting Sandra Fullerton

What an absolutely gorgeous card. A circle cutout in the front with a stamped image dangling in the centre. The ribbon and sentiment finishes it beautifully.
