Embossed card. Not a good picture as the light was a tad too bright.

Marika's birthday Card
Shamela demo'd this card at World Card Making day at the beginning of October. During the demo, I managed to complete the card except for the coloured image. I finished it on the weekend past and presented it to Marika on her birthday. I completely forgot to take a photo of it and had to 'pinch' it off Marika's sight :-)
Silhouette Cuts
Two projects cut on the silhouette. The baby bottle card was a bit of a challenge because I really wanted quite a heavy weight card but the silhouette cannot handle 300g cardstock at all. I cut the shape on 180g cardstock, traced it onto 300g and then cut with a scissor. Not perfect but passable.
The snowflake was cut on a 200g cardstock and needed a little 'scissor' help on one or two places.

Cut files for the Silhouette and other
I was cajoled by Amanda into hauling out my Silhouette and on expressing my wish to buy the new Silhouette Cameo was firmly told by her that 'you have a Silhouette'. Well, that saved me quite a bit of money as although my Silhouette cannot do a decent cut on cardstock heavier than 200g, there's absolutely nothing wrong with it.
So, out it came and there I was clicking on the links that Amanda sent and surfing away until I found some really great sites that had free cutting files.
You will find these links on the bottom right of my blog. A great big thanks goes out to the owners of these sites.

Road trip on the motor bike
It's 5am on Friday morning and my last post before I done my alien regalia and hubby and I together with 7 others head off to Port Elizabeth, East London, Port St. John, Graaff Reinnet and Oudtshoorn on a 7 day trip. We are hoping to do a few day trips to places of interest along the way.
It's stopped raining for now but very wet. I am praying it will stay that way.
