On and in the sea CAS card

This Sunday the challenge at the Outlawz is to create a card or project with the theme 'under or on the sea' and this was my card.

I made a sideways move and decided to make something other than a CAS card.

Sunday's CAS card at the Outlawz

This is my DT card.  The challenge is to create your own background.  I used a background stamp and heat embossed it with clear embossing powder.  I then used 3 different distress inks, spritzed it lightly with water and left it to dry.  next was ironing the card between two sheets of scratch paper to melt the embossing powder causing the image to pop quite nicely.

The Minc foiling machine was a 'I have to have it!'.  This was my first try.  I am quite happy with the results.

Another watercolour background card

This time, still using the outside wrapper of the copy paper but with the print on it.  As you can see, the print did not transfer to the card.  happiness!
